I have used APC back up systems to protect my computer, all-in-one printer for many years. Very dependable products with excellent customer support. The software for this unit includes an app by which you can manually self-test the unit (although it automatically does so every 2 weeks). The software also gives data regarding the load on the back-up as well as other helpful information. I would definitely recommend APC for this type of product.

Purchased when my old APS-UPS battery died and was too expensive to replace vs. just buying a new one with more back-up power capacity. system has performed flawlessly through two winter storms that generated power "blips", keeping my system up and running.

Was on sale. Had a good amount of backup power storage for limited desktop space. I found that having the start switch on the opposite end from the connections not intuative but after I discovered the switch the device works ok so far.
